What To Do When You Don’t Know What To Do (James)

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”  James 1:5, NIV

The book of James is just so wonderful. It is clear and relatable and helpful and just plum the truth! Here are a few vlogs from previous posts:

1 Helpful Word When Tempted To Doubt God’s Goodness – James 1:16-17

But, I would jump into the boat with James 1:5 anytime because I feel like I’m lacking wisdom on a daily basis:

  • with parenting my 3 boys
  • in my marriage
  • with how I fill my day
  • in friendships

I need wisdom and I need help! So what do you do when you don’t know what to do?

There are 3 words in James 1:5 that give explosive meaning to when you feel like you lack wisdom. I am right now experiencing these truths in the power of “the ask!” I hope it’s helpful to you.

*Spoiler Alert: I didn’t get the position of the cards totally visible on the video. Eek! So in case you miss them, the 3 words are: lack, ask, and generosity.
